On November 15, we invite you to join us for The First Toast, an evening of music, fine dining, and celebration as Opera Carmel makes its formal debut.

For one evening, the Vineyard House becomes our own Opera Salon, with bubbles, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and music woven throughout. Our singers and string quartet will perform up close, so everyone gets the best seat in the house. In keeping with opera's particular fondness for a good toast, we'll raise our glasses as we celebrate the beginning of something new and exciting in Carmel: an opera company of its own.

We rarely have an excuse for a truly glamorous evening anymore, wouldn't you agree? Let's bring out the evening gowns, the dinner jackets, the silk, the velvet, and perhaps a little theatrical flair. Black tie is optional, but dressing up is very much encouraged.

As Opera Carmel's inaugural benefit gala, The First Toast is also an opportunity to support the company's artistic future. Tickets are $350 per guest. Your presence and support will help us give this new company a strong beginning, and we hope you'll be part of it.
